In the year 2149 giant asteroid fields are revealed in the far reaches of space - fields highly concentrated with crystals of incredible value. Suddenly, untold wealth is up for grabs - that is, for those who dare Venture to it. Thousands of the bravest pilots and most remorseless pirates blast off to claim (and steal!) their fortunes.

The most ambitious of these individuals call themselves the Argonauts, honest and brave adventurers, one and all. Their ship of choice is the Argo, a dual Thruster fighter capable of housing laser blasters as well as missiles, bombs, and other technology to fend off pirates and other aggressors.

Though Argonauts are known to help each-other out in times of great peril, the vast isolation of space holds great dangers. Argonauts constantly battle with pirates and greedy scavengers just to stay alive. As you fly off into the depths of space to join the ranks of the Argonauts you ask yourself, do have what it takes to hold your ground in the chaos of the crystal mines?
