The game field is divided into cells and has 10 cells vertically and horizontally. There can be 4 to 9 foxes depending on the complexity level. Foxes do not leave their holes (i.e. cells).
You can check any cell by clicking on any mouse button. The digit which appears in the cell indicates the number of foxes you can see from the cell. As shown in the picture there are eight possible directions (vertical, horizontal and diagonal).
The bottom panel shows the number of moves made and the number of foxes not detected yet. You make a move clicking on a cell. There can be more than one fox in the same hole and in order to trap them all you have to click on the cell again. The goal of the game is to catch all the foxes at the minimum number of moves.
