BS Editor: They say there was a day, before the last road was paved and the age of litigation had come into vogue, that most evenings during twilight you could here the voice of the blue crested clamfisher wafting mournfully from the trees and echoing out into the bay. The Bohemian House and Ten Thousand others like her in a thousand other towns not unlike our own Sunset Valley stands as a diminishing glimpse into such a time.

What we don’t see today on the premises is the two story carriage barn where the garage stands, the root cellar where sits the pool and exercise room, and the clamfisher's nest in the old black gum tree out back.. Though the rotunda and grand staircase swallows up about half the interior space, we have luckily not yet lost them to the idea of environmental efficiency. We have the historic sensitivity of the present owners to thank for that…but how will the Bohemian House fare under YOUR stewardship?
