Edit By BS Editor: Swamp Buggy Racing brings you four classes of Vehicles (out of six real-life possibilities) to race. The onscreen racers are replicas of the actual 1999 NASRA point winners for each class, including Jeep, 6-cylinder, 8-cylinder, and Pro-Modified classes. Options include running each with either an automatic or manual transmission during gameplay.

There are two tracks featured in Swamp Buggy Racing: MESA Park and Wild Thing, a "back roads" swamp venue. The game offers three modes of racing including practice (no timer or competition), single race (timed and ranked), and heat race where the top two vehicles qualify for a race-off, with the winner crowned King of the Swamp. The interface supports force feedback joysticks, keyboard (default), and racing wheels. Optional game setups include high or low graphics display detail (3D accelerator cards are supported and recommended), a choice of skill level for the computer-controlled opponents, three racing views (elevated back view, roaming back view, and in-car), and weather effects.
